MBT Marketing: Mag Lip Mayhem TV Ad
Below, you can check out my righteous acting spot at the 28-second mark of this 30-second ad. How did I get featured in this Yakima Bait advertisement? Back in 2015, I was working a dual internship for MBT Marketing – who produced this funny video – and Fish Marketing up in Portland, Oregon. I got to be on set all day. An amazing learning opportunity for me to see how professional commercials are produced. When they asked me to be in the ad, of course I agreed. The coolest part about this advertisement is that it ran on TV throughout Oregon. After leaving Oregon to head back to Texas, my family and friends would call or text me when they saw me on TV. They said, “It’s like you never left your second favorite state.”
It’s always hilarious to look back at old videos and see a younger version of myself with a full set of hair. Instead of the seeing the slow, hair loss I have these days. That’s just life and genetic, no reason to fight it. I really wish I didn’t wait to grow my hair until I was 34 years old. It looked good, but my gosh – I could have had Fabio hair in my 20s. Don’t believe me, check out some photos below.
